Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
Health and Beauty AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to making our mobile application and this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice control, switch access, and larger text sizes. Everyone should be able to track their health, and we treat accessibility barriers as bugs.
1. Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA for this website, and to follow Apple's and Google's accessibility guidelines for our iOS and Android apps — including support for the VoiceOver and TalkBack screen readers, system font-size settings (Dynamic Type), and sufficient color contrast.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We do not claim full conformance today; the "Known Limitations" section below lists the gaps we know about and are working to close.
2. Measures We Take
- We build on the standard iOS and Android platform components wherever possible, which carry built-in accessibility support.
- We audit the app's screens with platform accessibility tooling and fold fixes into regular development.
- Accessibility issues reported by users are triaged with the same priority as functional bugs.
- This statement is reviewed and updated as the app changes.
3. Known Limitations
As of the date above, we are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to resolve them:
- Some buttons and controls — including several icon-only buttons (search, back, refresh, edit, delete) and on/off switches — are not yet individually labeled for screen readers (VoiceOver/TalkBack) or Voice Control.
- Some text and buttons do not yet meet recommended contrast levels, especially smaller gray helper text and colored buttons.
- Some selection indicators (such as the selected date or an active filter) are shown by color alone and are not yet announced to screen readers.
- The app's dark theme must be selected inside the app; it does not yet follow your device's system Dark Mode setting automatically.
- Most animations do not yet respect the system "Reduce Motion" setting.
- Text size follows your system's Larger Text setting, but at the largest accessibility sizes some headings, buttons, and labels are currently cut off — we are working on making all screens reflow correctly.
- Some compact controls are smaller than recommended touch-target sizes; larger tap areas are planned.
- A full hands-on VoiceOver and Voice Control review is still in progress, so support for these features is not guaranteed today.
4. Feedback & Contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier in the app or on this website, please tell us. Reports of accessibility problems are welcome and genuinely help us prioritize fixes.
Accessibility Contact:
Email: service@healthbeauty.app (subject line: "Accessibility")
You can also report issues from inside the app via the in-app feedback option.
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days. Where a barrier prevents you from completing a task in the app, we will work with you to provide the information or service another way while we fix it.
5. Compatibility
The app is designed to work with iOS VoiceOver, Android TalkBack, system font-size settings, and both light and dark appearance modes on currently supported versions of iOS and Android. This website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and their built-in zoom and screen-reader support.
